i am building a new computer for my mom who runs a business. i need to export all of her contacts and import them on this new computer. i started to use the import/export wizard, but i was not sure what file type i should use. both computers are using outlook. there are about 285 addresses if this makes any difference
thanks for the help craig

i had been doing comma separated values but it is putting SMTP after the e-mail address and then when i import this in, it uses that SMTP as part of the address in the new outlook

If she's using Outlook on both PCs, why not just export all the Personal Folders in one fell swoop.
1. Use the export function under the file menu.. "Export to a Fle" 2. Choose "Personal folder file (.pst)" 3. Hilite "Personal Folders" and check the box to Include Subfolders. 4. choose where you want to save it. Import the .pst file to the other PC. That's it! |

He said he's using OUTLOOK, not OE confused. There is quite a difference.
