anyway to fix corrupted asf file?

hi,
i have a asf file that seems to be corrupted or at least not working with windows media player 9.0. when it starts its fine and then in the middle i get this message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play."

and at the end its ok, so the middle is all messed up, is there a way to fix this, or another program i can use to play it where it might work?
