If it's disabled, it's gone.

Okay, thanks for the link. But I am stil left with zero hd space on partition c. Every time I clean out any little space, it gets filled up. I don't have a swap file and I long ago disabled S.Restore.Nothing gets downloaded. What else could be filling up partition c?

Send a message via MSN to doctorgonzo
Delete the contents of the temp folder. Clear your browser cache and set the cache size to 0.

You might want to bite the bullet and use Partition Magic to resize your partitions. It's foolish to have a partition smaller than 6 gigs with XP and 10 gigs is preferred.

no it does not need to be installed on the c drive
it runs in dos and ram
just use the floppys that were created
