Can't Remove Right Side Margin From Envelope Using Word
Using Office 2000 Word, I am trying to print an envelope with a photo clip at the spot where the postage stamp usually goes, about 1/4 of an inch from the right end of the envelope. I have set all the margins in PageSetup to 0. Yet, the envelope will not print anything beyond about a 3/4 inch or 1 inch margin from the right side of the envelope. The left side of the envelope margin is removed as it is supposed to be when I removed all margins in PageSetup but not the right side. The print preview also shows the clip cut off at about 3/4 inch or an inch from the right side. The rest of the clip before the margin shows fine.
Is there any way that I can delete this right side margin from an envelope because PageSetup is not doing it and I have tried it like 20 times. |

The printer you are printing the envelope on probably doesn't support completely elminating the right margin. Most printers can't print right up to the edge; even when you set the margin to 0 in a program, there is still a small margin left.
Check the printer documentation to see what the minimum margins are. |

That makes a lot of sense. If there is one thing I've learned its that printers do not work cut and dry. You almost have to have a zen sensitivity to printers to get them to work right. Like if I am printing a bunch of envelopes and I let the evelopes run out on the Epson before the quantity to print is finished, a red light comes on and doesn't go off even if I add more envelopes. I have to delete the spool and turn off the printer and when I turn it back on sometimes it will work and sometimes it will act crazy. Sometimes it takes me 20 minutes just to get it going again. It can drive you insane.
