Use the volume control

Sound levels will vary depending on how they were recorded. Having a whole nother program to automatically adjust it sounds like (pardo the pun) a waste of resources when you can control it yourself so easily.

I am using 4.1 speakers. Mix speakers. 2.1 + 2 and some files are independant of volume control(rear speakers anyway) So thats why I want the volume control

I think he want a program to level it off automatically so He can say be away from if computer that is playing random MP3's with out having to change the volume from song to song. I do believe there is software like that.

I will check at www.download.com and see if I can find anything that look promising.

MP3Gain 0.9.9 pop
Analyze and adjust your MP3 files so they have the same volume.
