Turning off Full System Scan in Norton 2002

Could you tell me how to turn off FULL SYSTEM SCAN in Norton AntiVirus 2002. Do I go into OPTIONS ? if so were do I go from there. The reason I'd like to turn it off is because when I'm racing NASCAR - 2003 or F1 - 2002 on line it kick's me off when it comes on. I would rather do a FULL SYSTEM SCAN myself. Thanks for your help.

I think you can just go to your Task Scheduler (probably in you tray at bottom right). There should be an entry for NAV scanning. Right click on it, select Properties, then select the Schedule tab. From there, you should be able to set it to whenever you want it to run. Possibly you could just delete it from the Scheduler altogether if you don't want Auto Scan at all.

The scheduler is only in the tray with Win9x - otherwise look in Control Panel for Scheduled Tasks.
