CD-R Software

Is there any software that can change my CD-R into a DVD burner or one that can burn PS2, XBOX, etc......games.

No, all that "Turn your CD-RW into a DVD burner" spam is bogus. DVDs and CDs use different laser frequencies, track spacing, and so forth. It takes more than software to change a CD-RW to a DVD burner.

Also, you would need to "mod" you xbox and ps2, with a mod chip. These unlock the system, and let them play backed up games. The early PS2 games were made on CDs, not DVDs (Notice the Blue Color).Doctor Gonzo is right, that stuff is bogus, and modding your system and playing backed up games is not only risky, considering you may break your system modding it, the games are illegal to own, unless you own the actual game (i.e. The one you bought). "Platinum and Greatest Hits" games are only 20 dollars now, for cheap gaming, and places like Blockbuster or a local game/video rental place will usaully sell you the older games for a lot cheaper than the retail versions. If you can deal with the games being used, you can get off saving alot
