Conversion of .jpg to .tiff

Dear friends, I am having few .jpg files with over 3MB of size. I needed to convert them to .tiff and send them through the Mail. Can anyone suggest me software to convert .jpg files to .tiff?

Please help me

Converting them to .tiff will not help you - if they are .jpg they are already compressed. Are you sure you don't mean that you have a .tiff you want to convert to .jpg to make it smaller?

www.irfanview.com - free image viewer and editor, has conversion capability with many formats.

glc beat me to it. You must mean from tiff to jpg. BTW, I have a photo editing software that came with a scanner or digital camera that is a variation of Adobe Photo Deluxe (Home Edition). Using Export mode from the Save a File area, you can covert to just about any file format you want.

Sounds like Graphic Workshop is just what you need........ www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gww.html you can do just about anything with this program........ expecially conversions between different file types.
