Question how to open vcd in pinnacle?

I have a vcd-now to edit it using piinacle 8.0. I cannot do that. there is this avesq01.dat file. I can play the file using wmp9. But I can't load it to pinnacle. What to do?

Dunno if Studio 8 can load MPEG-1 (I know it can load MPEG-2), but with VCDeasy from www.vcdeasy.org you can rewrite the header and make a normal MPEG file out of the DAT file. Then try again to load that into studio 8.
