Exclamation major problem!!

I don't know where to put this thread:
I have a a video. Divx format-the trouble is that when I open it today-some parts of the video turned white and there is a skipping occuring in the sonud and video. Its Then its ok again-but it the screen turns white, then there is skipping in the sound. I tried other videos-in the same folder, everything is ok. Now What is wrong?! How to salvage/repair the video? I moved some files to other partitions. Is this a bad sector?

Well I don't think that will work because only one movie file is bad. The others are ok. After transfer it to another partition, the problem is still there.

The video itself is probably corrupted. Try re-downloading it (or if you encoded it yourself, redo it) I would agree that you should download the newest DivX codecs. I, too, have some DivX videos that are a little corrupt in places.
