Question Help with pinnacle 8.0

How do I insert pictures-gif, jpeg to the video editing place?
And, If I want to edit the picture-I cannot use pinnacle to do it, right? eg-background color, color of picture. etc.

I must use Adobe than import to pinnacle?

In Edit mode, on the left side there should be some icons, and one of them should look like a camera. Click on it and you can load the pictures. It is well described in the manual.

And please don't use the name of the companies, use the name of the programs.

Adobe what ? Photoshop ? Premiere ? I assume Photoshop as that would make most sense.
Well you're right, with studio you can only use the images, not edit them. Well you can change the brightness and the colors too, but if you really want to edit them you need to edit them with an image editor, that'd probably be Photoshop in your case.

more questions: How to remove the sound from the original video clip and use my own? When I place my music-I still get the original sound.

Second: What is the function of the lock symbol:lock...to track.

I want to insert midi-need to convert it to either wav/ mp3. Know how?

You could mute the original sound, or, before loading the video, lock the original sound line and then load the video. The original sound won't be loaded then.
Dunno about removing the sound afterwards. As said, you can mute them.

Yeah, I told you that you can also mute the original sound

About midi to wav, I dunno, haven't done that, but here are a couple of sites that have such converters maybe one of them is useful to you:

http://www.google.de/search?sourceid...&q=midi+to+wav

I have a problem entering text-it seems I got to enter the text in the title track. But I only find two effects. Either the text going left to right or down to up. Are there more effects?
Second: I have a problem inserting the text dialog box. I already entered it-forgot how. Then when I want to enter more-it looks like that I copy the same thing and paste at another place-then edit the text. I know I can take the picture and place it at the track-but that will block the video(the video is now in the backgrond coverd by this picture. I only get to see a glimpse of it at the sides. Help

I want text on the video-not on the picture that I insert

Inside TitleDeko no, only the two you mentioned, but in the timeline you can combine the text with any of the effects that you also use for video. What exactly do you want to do ?

Second: In TitleDeko set the properties to transparent.

Yep.

If you want to adjust a track independantly of the other you need to lock a track. For example if you want to load a video without sound you lock the sound track before and sound won't be loaded.

Here is another thing-I tried to edit a AMV-anime music video. Looks like it had been place like copyright control. I could only get 5 frames of 3 seconds-then that's it. How do I edit this type of video? I was planning to change it to vcd-then back again to mpg. Any ideas?
