What kind of warning message?

Try start/run/msconfig and see if it is checked in startup, if it is uncheck it.

Welcome.
The actual "winsys.exe" IS the virus.
The warning you get is because the registry or system.ini is still trying to load it.
Open Explorer, and search (including hidden, system, and subfolders) for everything that contains "winsys.exe".
If it's in a .sys file, you can open regedit, search for it again, and delete that line completely.
It's probalby in HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run
If it's in system.ini or win.ini you can open them in notepad and remove the line.
