ive got a powerpoint presentation thats corrupt (i think)

hi

ive got a powerpoint presentation ive been working on, for some reason it wont open.

powerpoint give a message saying that it cant open the file represented

ive had a look on various sites and from what ive read, it seems that the file is corrupt

ive seen the various services available and cant afford them, does anyone know of any reasonably (preferably free) priced software that could recover the file, or any method i could use to recover it myself

thanks in advance
