Combining 2 video clips

I just finished downloading a certain movie, "disc" 1 and 2 are each about 750MB, is there a way I can combine them and make them one file? They are in DIVX format I think... if that matters...

OK, yes you can use programs to re encode them and make them fit on one one CD, but you will lose allot of quality to do so.

Your best bet is to go back to the source, re encode it to Mpeg. Since it is downloaded, I am forced to assume you do not have the original so we can not offer you assistance with that.

There is a doctor divx program available. It even has a free trial period so You can try it before you buy it.
