I did it and really liked the program. Installed with no troubles and in no time I was photocopying documents with my Genius scanner and my laser printer.

My ancient UMAX parallel port scanner came with copier software that looks very similar, and it is pretty handy.

great little program...I've had it for 3 or 4 years now.
simple small and very easy to use with just about ANY printer and scanner....

My Microtek scanner came with Scansuite which does scan,fax,and copy.

I think most HP scanners come with 'ScanJet Copy Utility' which acts just like a copier.
