remote pc access
Does anyone know of any software that would allow me to remotely access my PC with the use of an Internet dialup eg:
computer A is at work and computer B is at home. I want computer A to be on all the time but not connected to the internet but a modem is installed and connected to the phone line. I want computer B to phone the line that computer A is on and for A to recognise this and allow remote access (password restricted obviously). Any ideas would be great Thanks Adrian |

That is known as remote access and I think it is available on Win2000....
I know that one of our telcom switches we service has NT4 on it and we can access it that way by dialing up but still need to use java client that is in the NT box or PC anywhere to actually get to the NT desktop from our remote PC, and I think win2000 is no different in that respect. WinXP Pro does have that remote PC access thing built in too and I think that may work exactly as U want without any 3rd party software...
