Go here: http://www.ntius.com/support/webhelp/tsguide.htm
click on the search option and enter the error codes, they will tell you what they are and while you may be getting them.

Thank you gbirke... this is what I found there:

Quote:
Medium Error (1003)
Error: Medium error.

Analysis: The drive reported a medium error. This is usually due to an unrecovered read error. The disc may no longer be readable. They may be caused by a drive compatibility issue.

Solution: Inspect the disc for signs of dirt or damage. Clean the disc or use another disc if necessary. Contact NTI Technical Support to report this problem should it continue to occur.
Does anyone else have problems burning CD's? It seems like one out of every 5 or so have problems. I'm using Maxell CD-R 700 MB.

ThanX

That's a pretty old drive - it may be on its last legs or it may have a dirty lens. It might be time to treat yourself to a $45 52x drive.
