WinAmp 2.91 slowdowns
Running XP Pro, SP1
Athlon XP 2500+ 1 gig RAM anyway, once in a while when i'm playing WinAmp MP3's, the music slows down a touch, then picks up again |

Personally, I find Winamp 2.91 too buggy. I used 2.81 on my 98 machines and 3 on XP's.

I would have to say that after using version 2.81 for longer than 1 year i find it to be extremly stable I have never had problems with it. If you still want 2.81 it can still be downloaded at winamp.com just click the picture of a "2" in the Far Top right hand corner and look for it. You cant miss it. As for winamp three Im not used to it yet. I have the installer file and had it isntalled a few times but disliked the look because every thing was movied around as opposed to the 2.81 version where everything is right there. Dont get me wrong the skins for winamp 3 kick some @$$!!!
