Kazaa Media Desktop v2.5
hi,
i have a p4-1.7ghz, winxp with sp1 and directx9 and 256 mb ram!!i have been facing a very peculiar problem with all softwares installed with cd_clint.dll (cydoor)!! be it kazaa or imesh, they all close themselves after a few seconds of initiailization!! so everybody sez use kazaa lite!! but i like the official stuff kazaa officially offers, and so i installed kazaa and removed adwares with ad-aware and replaced cd_clint.dll with a dummy file found on www.cexx.org!!but, kazaa 2.5 seems to have updated it's cydoor bundle and this trick no longer works!!i have no problem in installing adwares,but please i request anyone who reads this to help me so that kazaa media desktop 2.5 doesn't closes itself a fter a few seconds and can run smoothly!! Its just the way Kazaa works, if you ditch its spyware and adware, it just wont work right, if you want kazaa without spyware or adaware, you DL Kazaa lite...You cant have Kazaa lite on Kazaa Official.
You have to completely uninstall kazaa then reinstall it, and you cant run any spyware or ad-aware programs. I dont know what your talking about when you mnetioned what Kazaa Officially offers...I have the latest version of Kazaa lite and it beats the pants off Kazaa, no ad-aware, no spyware, no problem, but if you dont mind it, like I said, just DL Kazaa again and dont run any spyware or anything. But I would still highly recommend you consider the latest version of kazaal lite, you might have had a bad experience with an older version or something, but the latest version is fantastic,

Get Kazaa Lite K++ Version. It is much better then the Original Kazaa Lite. Go to www.k-lite.tk and then click on the downloads to see all of the new features it has.

You have to understand, they probablly found out people were doing that...and corrected the bug.

there is no dummy cd_clint.dll fille. kazaa doesn't work with out the real thing. in my humble opinion, running the full version of this program is asking for trouble.
do your stubborness a favor and just TRY the lite version. just what is it in the full version that you will be missing??? |
