I have a few different .avi video files on my comp. Trouble is I can't play them with any media player I have (3-4 I think) It plays the audio sometimes with a visulisation but thats it. The files are too large to be audio... any suggestions?

Do you have latest WMP codecs installed? If these files are compressed, do you have the DIVX codec installed? HTH

Codecs add on to the functions of media players, and allow them to play other types of files. The DIVX codec is a popular one to use, so installing it may allow you to see your file. You can download it here: http://www.divx.com/divx/
If you are using Windows Media Player, make sure you have the latest version, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...ad/default.asp Hope that helps
