Pagemaker and PDFs

I'm a long time user of Pagemaker 6.5 and PDF files exported from PM. Interesting problem has developed with one of our NT machines. When in PM, if I try to export to PDF, it goes blue screen on me with a physical stack dump memory error. It takes a hard boot to get its feet again. It has 128Mgs RAM.
I have a similar setup on an NT machine with no such errors. I have the same setup on an XP machine (1 gig RAM) and it exports just fine, but the maps (WMFs) are incomplete.
All the machines use PM6.5 and Distiller 4.0.

Try increasing the size of the pagefile (virtual memory). A lot of Adobe stuff needs 512mb minimum pagefile.

Why not do the simplest thing, bump up the RAM to 512 or so? As cheap as it is, it would be well worth it. It seems like everytime that NT gives those stack dump messages, it is related to RAM.
