Norton Internet Security never working!!

awhile back, i uninstalled NAV 2002 and installed NAV 2003 and NIS 2003. well soon after i realized that norton AV didnt work at all. so i uninstaled and reinstalled . well ever since the beginning, every time i try to change any setting in Norton Internet Security, it gives me an error message releated to NAV. ok fine. i uninstall NAV and i install PC-Cillin 2003. after that works, NIS still gives me that error aafter reinstalling it 5 times. Norton didnt respond to either of my 2 emails

I had problems with Norton SW 2002 and when I uninstalled, it left all kinds of stuff around. I had to manually delete any file and registry related to Norton. After that I reinstalled and it works OK.
