I am going to attend a LAN in a few weeks and I am concerned about leaving my system unattended if I need to be away. I need a kind of program that will lock the system and allow me to use it when I come back. It needs to be able to continue the lock even if the system is rebooted. I dont want to use the Windows logoff, just so I can save some time booting back up. Does anyone have any recommendations? TIA

Hi Alaron56,
What OS are you using? If it's Win2K/XP, just set a password for your user account and lock the computer. Even if it is rebooted, they will need to enter a password to access your account. |

Just logoff and it will take you to the login screen where you must enter the password to get back in.
