how to remove annoying box in the new icq lite?
I dl the new icq lite-I get this goofy bar on top of the google ssearch button. how do I remove it, looks like its a commercial tool.

Right click on the toolbar and uncheck the ICQ Lite bar.

I did not find any icq lite bar... maybe I am looking at the wrong place

In Internet Explorer, go to View>Toolbars and if there's an entry for the ICQ bar, click on it to uncheck it. It'll still be installed but it shouldn't show anymore.

This is not the toolbar-the icq icon in internet explorer-when I did that, there is no ICQ lite option, even when ICQ is functioning. This is in ICQ itself-where lite now has two windows joined togehter. The top is the ads, the bottom is the normal ICQ function. Sorry to not inform you guys in detail. Hope this info helps. There is no ICQ bar-and the window is still open.
