Nero 6
Anybody here try out Nero 6? Version 6.0.0.9 (the official release) is out. I've got it and it's pretty good, with a fews hassles.

Yes I have the Nero 6 but i found that some writers aren't compatible and one other problems i have is when it stops writing during the process.

I concur with morriswindgate....
I've seen this happen time and again... a company gets a pretty good thing going, and then screws it up by trying to improve it. |

What ?
No, the new Nero 6 is great, the interface is better than the old one. Actually the interface is very similar, but the little things that annoyed me are finally fixed (like the two separate windows, the missing count-down etc.). So now I can finally move over from Roxio WinOnCD to Ahead Nero ![]() RJ

Oh well I was a bit too fast. .. yeah the new interface is nice, but the functionality leaves something to be desired.
Burnt 2 DVDs and both are now kinda coasters. No real costers, but kinda. Everything was burned, and I can read the files and copy the files back to hard drive, but when I want to play the DVD back I get an error message like "Disc is unreadable, might be scratched, clean it" at certain positions on the DVD (not the entire DVD). But when I copy the files to hard drives I can play it back perfectly. Uninstalled Nero 6.0, installed again Nero 5.5.9.0, burnt DVD and that one now works like it should. Nero 6: Nice interface, but they gotta fix some bugs. . maybe there are other bugs. There is even a bug that can erase the entire hard drive ![]() RJ |
