I have a laptop with about 15 gigs of mp3s I want to transfer to another hardrive. Rather than burning 700mbs of mp3s at a time to CD is there a better, faster way? Thanks in advance.

you could do a direct cable connection with a nul modem cable.
you could network the two computers together and do the transfer. upload them to a web site and then download then to another computer. 1st method would be the preferd one |

15 gigs across a serial cable will take days. Parallel is faster, USB faster yet, and networking is the best option.
You can also remove the hard drive from the laptop and connect it into the desktop with a notebook to IDE adapter. |
