Roxio Cd Creator

I have CD creator on both my laptops and my desktop (because I have an external CD-R) but when I make CD's on one of my laptops they come out fine same as with the desktop but the other laptop doesnt make them correctly. The disk say they are used but I see nothing on them. I installed the program on them all the same way the only difference is the one with the problem is running Windows ME.

is it just one disc that you are having trouble with, or do you get the error message with all discs?
(sometimes a scratch or a smudge will cause an error)

Both laptops are Hewlett Packards one an Omnibook the other a Pavilion. I have one burner I rotate between all the Computers. The burner is a IOMEGA Zip CD. And yes they are all CD-R's

Personally, I use Easy 4 with Windows 9x. Easy 5 with XP. But I think there may be some updates with ME.

if you don't mind me asking, why do you use all three to burn with? I have a 6 pc network and have delegated one pc for burning...this leaves the other 5 free of drivers.
also, how much memory do you have in the laptop that doesn't work?
(sorry to ask so many ?'s but I just can't seem to get a grip on your problem)
