Default .jpeg settings ?
Ok, Its been a while since I was last on this site...my question is that my computer (dell c640 lattitude w/P4 processor) decided it didnt want to open any picture files period. I cannot remember for the life of me where the settings are to change from what is my default, M/S Photo Editor...not my personal computer, rather the Govmnt one issued to me, I'm a Marine satationed overseas...any suggestions? I do have administrator rights to this computer also and am ruinning MS 2000 Service Pack 3...thanks a buch

While holding down the shift key, RIGHT click on a file of the type you want to change and choose from the list which program you want to use to open them. If it's not listed, use the browse button to find its exe file and choose it.
Before clicking on OK, be sure to put a check mark in the box next to "Always open...." and that should change the file association for all files of like type. |

Instead of Photo Editor, why not download and install a little program (freeware) call Infaview. It is a great little piece of software with both slide show and batch processing ability. And it causes absolutly zero problems.
