realplayer registration
I have version 8, and I would like to disable the registration form that keeps popping up when the prog is opened. When I try to cancel or finish, it says: "please select 'remind me later' from the registration options if you do not wish to supply your email address at this time"
Just where is this option? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Search for realsched.exe. Delete it and you won`t get the annoying popups.
edit...the setting will need a reboot to reset the registry, but to bypass the reboot and save time simply open task manager\processes,and end explorer.Then click file\new task\explorer.exe. This is like an abbreviated reboot that resets the registry. Last edited by KHT; 08-07-2003 at 06:59 PM. |
