AVI to EXE program
Is there a program around that will work with Win XP that can convert a .avi file to a .exe file so it can play all by it self

Yes that one of the thing I could use it for!
May Logitech software for my webcam used to do it, It would compress the AVI file and insert a little viewer so anyone could watch it BUT it's been upgraded from 95 to XP and it don't do it anymore it just converts it to a MWV file and not a stand alone EXE |

I believe the Rad Game Tools package has the ability to do this.

I can't beleave this
I was messing around with a program called Video Impression by Ace Soft that came with Roxio cd creater 5 and it does what I was looking for and I never knew it
it's able to make an avi into an exe by inserting it's own small veiwer god I can't beleave I had something like this all the time and never knew it But thanks for the replys
