Well, what do you want to know ? Good authoring software ?
A good software is Ulead DVD PowerTools (Ulead DVD Workshop). . if that's what you meant. RJ

Well, Doom9 has good info about this.
But basically all you need is the freeware DVD Shrink. You don't need a dvd burner to learn dvd shrink.. . dvd shrink can't burn a dvd anyway, all it does is to create the new ifo, vob and bup files that you can burn to DVD. Just try it, and if you get new ifo, bup and vob files that don't exceed 4,37 GB you're done and ready to get a dvd burner ![]() RJ |

Ok, well I have the Sony DRU510A internal DVD Burner on the way, so I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row. Thanks for the info.

Umm I think I posted in the wrong thread. . . that response shouldn't be here .. . . something I've messed up. ..
As for your authoring software question: To give you a real recommendation it's necessary to you what features you want: 16:9 capability, AC3 encoding, subtitles etc. DVD Shrink is not an authoring software, it's a software to backup a dual layered video dvd. . well might be interesting for you too although that was meant for another thread. . . guess it's too hot here ![]() RJ |
