Well, I love 'Ad Aware' and 'Spybot' for cleaning all the junk off my computer.

For best games I'll have to go with Battlefield 1942 (with Desert Combat Mod) and Warcraft 3 (with expansion).

Best OS is WinXP (not a lot of choices there).

Best Burning software - Nero.

Best Chat Program - Trillian.

Best Music Program - Music Match.

Best Computer Site - PcMech.com

FeedReader is a program for subscribing to RSS feeds. They are usually used by news services and bloggers. That way, instead of going to different news sites like CNN, the BBC, the NY Times, and so on to check for news, it comes to me.

Irfanview is a freeware image viewing program. It can change an image file from one format to another, resize, and do a lot of other stuff. It is very handy.

I know who Roxio are. I just wondered why anyone would include them in the list of favourites? They're definitely NOT on my list...

Uh-oh, McAfee.
It's been said here on the Mech that friends don't let friends do McAfee.

The question was [REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT APPLICATION U LIKE THE MOST]

I listed those that I liked the most. Roxio is one that I like to use. Therefore I listed it. My apoligies if this was confusing to you.

Well, I did and got rid of it fast.

The reason? Its prompts to defrag annoyed me. I don't want a program telling me when I should defrag my HD. If only those pop-ups could have been disabled but they couldn't.

What vexed me the most was that sometimes the pop-up came when I was running a game that doesn't support Alt-Tab app changing like Red Faction and the game crashed. The only way left was to hit the reset button.

Enough! The program went flying off my HD after a couple of those crashes.

if you disable the DK service, those popups stop. I run DK when I want to defray my drive, then stop the service so the popups don't get in the way.
