Exclamation MS co-funds digital music service

Quote:
Europeans will be able to download songs starting at 99 euro cents ($1.12) each - without subscription fees - through the MSN Music Club or Tiscali Music Club using Microsoft's Windows Media Player 9 technology.
It looks like MS want in on the music buisness. The digital music company, OD2, is going to be run basically the same way that iTunes runs it's "pay-per-song" service. Additionally, ODE2 is starting out with nearly the same sized music catalogue as iTunes, only it costs more.
