Window's Update/IE 6.0 download question???

I was on the Windows Update site and downloaded a bunch of critical updates for my computer. Some I could save into my downloads folder and execute later but for IE6.0 I could not. It did not give me the option to save to disk. I want to also run these updates on my other computer but don't want to spend the time to download them again since I don't have high speed internet (only slow dial-up). So my question is: How can I get IE6.0 from one PC to the other when I wasn't given the option to save the download to disk. Can I still burn the program to CDR and run it on the other PC (which is how I did the other files that could be saved to disk)? What executable file do I use?

not really... That's not the complete download. It has to reconnect to the website during installation and that is the part that takes hours with dial up. Am I right?

Hours, what are you talking about, I used to have dialup about a month ago. It never took more than an hour and a half to get ALL the windows updates after I reinstalled windows. Including internet explorer and windows media player.

Blue_,

I know what hes talking about. IE6 took 2.5 hours on dialup and then only when it would complete the d/l.

So glad to have DSL.
