Exclamation getting rid of an annoyance

Everytime i start my computer up i get a dambass add poping up. my pop up stopper dosent even stop it... any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Scan for spyware with Ad-aware and Spybot S&D. If your OS is windows xp, go into administrative tools/services and disable windows messenger.

I used spybot. I did get rid of alot of things but the one that i wanted gone didnt get destroyed by it. Ad-aware any better?

You'll have to disable messenger service.
