Is this problem on my end or at PC MECH?
The banner ads here at the forums don't finish loading(a good thing?) but I can click on forum threads with no problems.
Any thoughts?

Banner ads traditionally are problematic. Sometimes it is the javascript, sometimes who knows. They are also somewhat IE specific. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
