duel boot

i bought a 120 gig hard-drive in january, purrley becuase i wanted to paritition it in to 3, 40gig hard-drives. 1 for windows xp, 1 for linux and 1 for mp3s

Now i am eventualy going to do it but am not sure how to partition my hard-drive and then install multiple os's on them, could somebody please help me

You can install Windows XP first, making sure you don't use the entire drive when you partition. So, when you install Windows, make 1 40 GB partition for the OS, and 1 40 GB partition for your MP3s. Leave the other 40 GB unallocated. Then install Linux to that free partition. It should detect the Windows installation and automatically create a bootloader, or you can do it yourself afterwards manually.

Make sure you format the MP3 partition as FAT32 if you want to be able to read and write to it in Linux.
