Need help
I don't know where to post this question. A friend gave me an older iMac and an HP Deskjet 897c printer to be donated to a home for handicapped kids. The previous owner lost the installation CD and the owner's manual for the printer. I wrote to HP but have not received an answer. Can anyone tell me where I might find the installation CD and/or owner's manual for a Deskjet 697c printer? Does anyone know the URL of a Mac message board? The printer drivers have to be on a CD because the iMac does not have a floppy drive. The thing is not programmed for the internet so I can't download the drivers. I'd like to get this iMac donated so thanks for any info. Crank

Thanks, Dan and den2k2. I've been working with this iMac for a few days now, reinstalling the OS etc. I'm sure glad I don't own one. If "bin the iMac" in the UK means the same thing as "trash the iMac" does in Iowa, then I agree. I may end up doing just that. Crank

To put it in a language everyone can understand: Throw the thing out of the window into oncoming traffic and watch parts of it fly around as it smashes into a billion pieces! =)
