2ndsrch.dll
Hi,
2ndsrch.dll I am having problems with this file being needed after the boot and it is either corrupt or not found. Anyways, I can't figure out what it belongs to so I can either re-install the program, or un-install it. Anyone know what it belongs to? Thanks in advance. |

You've been hijacked by some spyware.
Spybot Search & Destroy will fix it. The file that calls the .dll is stcloader.exe You can manually delete that file, and 2ndsrch.dll with no trouble, but I would still use Spybot, as well as an updated trojan scan. |

Hi again,
Thanks, it doesn't load up any more, however I still have the STCLOADER entry in MSCONFIG with the box unchecked. Is there a way of getting rid of this entry altogether? Thanks again. |

Open regedit, navigate to HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run-
Delete it. Do a registry search for "stcloader" and "2ndsrch". Also uncheck and delete this one: Shell = C:\WINDOWS/DOWNLO~1/tray.exe |
