Question Question regarding DVD burning

Is there a program out there that allows a user to "split up" a DVD into smaller parts so that it can fit on to a couple of the 4.7gb disks? Just curious...

Second Question:
Will a DVD player play Divx type of information. I'm a little confused. For example when I use a file sharing program and download a movie, will that movie in Divx format play on my DVD player?

Thanks for any input.

Check out:

www.dvdrhelp.com

Look at left-hand column under "How To" and topics: 'Convert' and 'Play'

Hope this helps...
