I can't seem to be able to instal windows XP. I have repartitioned and formatted the hard drive several times, tried different RAM, different video card, surface scanned the drive but nothing works. I can install windows 95 but even that messes up sometimes.
What happens is the screen goes blank and like a little red dot diminishes in the middle of the screen. Usually just as it gets to the main part of the XP installation, sometimes it does it earlier or half way through. I can't think of anything that could cause this sort of problem. ![]() Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
