Media player as main program...
I have both Windows Media Player and Winamp on my comp, and when I try to open video or audio it automatically goes to Winamp, can I make the default viewer Media Player without reinstalling? Thanks.

Hi Gjc856,
Open WMP and go to Tools > Options > File Types and check which files you want WMP to play. Then open WinAmp and go to Preferences > Setup > File Types and uncheck the same files you check in WMP, and uncheck the "Register types on WinAmp startup" box. Hope this helps. |
