Windows 95 support. Requires the Microsoft Dial-Up Networking Upgrade 1.2 or later to operate on the retail version. The OEM Service Releases of Windows 95 should require no updates.

thanks glc, the lady actually decided that it was not a new internet connection she wanted, but rather a new computer. she had fooled herself into thinking that dsl would fix all of her problems. however, she will be getting the dsl once she gets a new computer, and i will you raspppoe instead of the yahoo crap. thanks a lot for your help with this.

Do you have the notes on how to set up SBC without using the software?
https://sbcreg.sbcglobal.net Mail servers - pop/smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com smtp requires authentication If her new box has XP, you won't even need RASPPPoE - the builtin PPPoE client works fine and so does the XP firewall. |
