Buy a KiSS DP-450 and burn your Divx to DVD-R.

I was told there was a way of converting the file type so you can play them in any DVD player - without bying anything extra

check out this site

hey lloyd

check out DVD-R Help . They will tell you exactly how to convert between all of the formats. Just click on To DVD-R and there will be a section for Divx. Hope that helps

Here is a list of software that should do what you want to do. i don't know a whole bunch about conversion from divx to dvd-r but all of the info i have ever needed has been on dvd-r help.com (previous link in other post). it is not the easiest thing to do in the world, but if you do some reading you may find a quick way to do it.

edit: Check out this page as well and this one
