windows ME
I just put an ethernet card into my computer with windows ME on it and after I installed it every 30 seconds or so a box pops up saying explorer has found an error and will close. I hit the close box and then 30 seconds later it pops up again. I can't have an active desktop and I even reinstalled the card and when it was uninstalled this continued. How can i stop it? Thank you for any help you have

Pull the card and do a system restore back to when it was working properly.
