Moderator note
stardust: Please read the FAQ for this site. To summarize, this site will not support warez, crackz or illegal software sharing/acquiring. I can understand your frustration at not finding the appropriate software for your computer; however, as it so happens, Windows 95 and Microsoft Plus for Windows 95 are software that are protected by copyright laws. If you have any comments or wish to discuss this matter further; please PM or email one of the moderators. Thanx At this stage, I would recommend that you look for places to buy the software, which may not be an easy task, but by no means impossible. As a suggestion, check out ebay: An example of a search in ebay to help you get started Last edited by Statica; 09-15-2003 at 11:42 AM. |

Sure, am glad it was cleared up though.
As I said, the only place I could come up with that had them at a reasonable price was on ebay, hopefully someone else will be able to help you out further. |

Statica, I did a search but couldnt find anything regarding the EULA for Windows.( I have 2 old Win95 usb CD's from my old dumped PC's, wasting away on a shelf- can't I legally sell them to somebody? Give them away ? There is an OEM as part of the key if that is any help.
( I'm a law abiding geezer- I'm just curious as to what the facts are ) |

This may help or may add to the confusion. A once came across a thread in PCMECH where someone (maybe a mod) that posted a site that sells older OS's. Does anyone recall this thread?

This seems a bit steep price wise, but check it out.

That's not what the poster is looking for - he/she is looking for the Plus! addon pack for Win95.
Search Ebay for Windows 95 Plus - you will find several for sale. Note that if it's on floppies instead of a CD, and it's used, the original user's name is burned into the installation. I recommend you bid on one of those listed that's advertised as new and sealed. |
