Obviously doobie doesn't understand the time and effort put into this. This program is actually very interesting. The fact that the program wants to be immortal and smarter than humans is scary though. It told me this.

He's right though in that it was dissapointing. I'd thought they'd got farther. This is the most important part of eliminating input via keyboard and mouse, or touch screen etc.
The other side of it- converting text to audio is a bit further on but still not there- I gave up on my Dragon Easy Speaking etc.
But another few years and we'll be lying in bed shouting posts at our all in one, PC/TV/game/audio/video unit.

Reboot - please move this to General Discussion if anybody else posts on it. Tks.

She is pretty cool. Its weird how she speaks for all robots sometimes. Instead of just speaking for herself.

there was a program similar called billy that would adapt to your way of speaking and language. its an older more basic prog, but fun. ok i just tryed this prog out an it is the same as the billy prog..the only diffderence is billy was dos based(and free) and you could expand or revise his vocabulary.

'Initiate' seems to have ALICE generate random questions directed at you. Instead of having ALICE ask you questions.
