Office 2002 date problem
A friend of mine recently started having problems with his Word XP 2002 program.
when he uses the auto date macro in Word, it looks OK, but when he prints, the actual macro comes out instead. the same thing goes for when he prints envelopes with the address barcode selected, he sees the macro for that. as a matter of fact anytime he uses a macro built into word, every seems cool until he prints, in which case the text for the macro comes out. He says the whole thing started shortly after he saved a word doc as a word 6.0/95 docutment to mail to someone. any ideas? (he's using Windows XP, but I don't have any other system specs.) I have tried a repair install of Office, but it didn't work. |

Click tools>options...under the "print" tab, the second grouping "include with document" - uncheck "field codes"
That should take care of the problem. HTH Cheryl |
