Recorded MP3 Glitches on the VCD cum MP3 player?

Hello there,

I have recorded my very own guitar music into my computer through my computer microphone which is connected to a SB Vibra 128 4D sound card. However, I have some problems here:

1. I have converted my recorded music files into MP3 files. When I copied it into my CD with the other MP3 files downloaded from the Net, I played it into my VCD player ( and also a MP3 player ). The player plays the files that I have downloaded from the net very well, but it just skips the MP3 files which have been converted and recorded from me. Is this bandwidth related problem? I played my CD in my computer and it seems to be just fine. All files there can be played without glitches. How to change MP3 files which have the bandwitdh from 24 kbps 11 khz to 96 kbps 44 khz to the original CD quality MP3 files, 128 kbps 44 khz ( downloaded from the Net ) ?

2. How can I make my recorded wave files to sound more clear, resonant and loud?
