Question Software that makes identical backups?

Know any software that makes identical backup of a drive-my windows xp drive. Along with the user settings, the updates, patches for all the software?

Send a message via MSN to doctorgonzo
Something like Drive Image or Norton Ghost will do that.

I use Norton Ghost. I personally don't know how effective they are since I haven't had the need to revert to a backup. However, I heard that ghost works like a charm.

the windows xp pro back up prog will do it and you can make a flopy disk so if you have 2 hard drives and the back up is on the second you run setup from the win cd and press f6 to load the back up flopy and windows will reload your back up from the second drive

I us Ghost. XP Pro, and home, also has the capability to do this. Hal9000, I believe, posted this method for XP home awhile back.
To install the backup program, put the XP Homeinstallation disc into your CD-ROM drive and open it in Windows Explorer. Go to \VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP. In the NTBACKUP folder, double-click ntbackup.msi to install the program. Once you install the backup program, it will appear in Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools.
